In a desperate bid to aid her father, Carmelo Musumeci, who has been wrongfully accused by a drug cartel of making 20 kilograms of heroin vanish, Lilly decides to get herself incarcerated. Her strategy involves insulting two traffic police officers to facilitate contact with an inmate, Daniela Vinci, who is privy to the true account of events.

Unbeknownst to Lilly, her father tragically loses his life attempting to flee the vengeful gang, falling from a dilapidated building in the process. Persisting against all odds, Lilly eventually manages to extract the illicit substance from Daniela after a series of unsuccessful attempts. Simultaneously, a group of enigmatic inmates, aided by a corrupt supervisor, seek to intimidate Daniela into silence.

However, gaining knowledge of the truth proves to be a fruitless endeavor. Lilly finds herself further ensnared in the perilous scheme when the prison's director, who is in league with the drug traffickers, alerts a dangerous ally. This accomplice is poised to eliminate both Lilly and the police commissioner, to whom Daniela had relayed the crucial information, upon his release from prison. The fate of Lilly and the commissioner now hangs in the balance.
